Finns Sweep Superbike Podium at Estonian Grand Prix

Finnish racers claimed all top three positions in the Superbike class at the Estonian Grand Prix, held at the Porsche Ring.

Eemeli Lahti, riding an Aprilia, took an early lead and maintained it throughout the race, finishing ahead of fellow Finns Ville Valtonen on a BMW and Kenny Koskinen.

The race was not without incident, as the first Superbike heat was stopped by a red flag. A five-lap restart followed, where Lahti again proved fastest, setting the quickest lap at 1 minute 13.438 seconds. Valtonen finished 0.326 seconds behind Lahti, with Koskinen securing third place.

Mihkel Osula of Estonia finished fourth, becoming the best-placed local rider. Lahti commented on the eventful nature of the race, expressing hope that another rider, Jaanus, who had a significant crash, was unharmed. "Despite the fact that a lot happened in the race, it was a good day for me. The tires held up well, and I had no problems myself," Lahti stated.

Other classes also saw action, with Hugo-Brent Freimann winning the Superstock 600 class for Estonia. Lithuanian rider Dominykas Razmislavicius won the B600 class, while Karol Kadarik took victory in the Twin Sportbike category based on qualifying results after the race was stopped twice. Tristan Liiv won the Supersport 300 class in his debut in the category.
