Fintiri Appoints Boss Mustapha as Adamawa Representative on Northern Security Board

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has appointed former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, as the state's representative on the Board of Trustees of the Northern Nigeria Security Trust Fund. The appointment took immediate effect.

Governor Fintiri stated that the appointment underscores his administration's commitment to enhancing the regional security architecture. He emphasized the importance of Adamawa State having effective representation in critical decisions aimed at protecting lives and property throughout Northern Nigeria. The Northern Governors' Forum established the Security Trust Fund as a sub-national initiative to bolster the efforts of existing security agencies in addressing the escalating security concerns within the region.

The fund is designed to facilitate intelligence coordination, provide operational logistics, foster inter-state collaboration, and promote community-based security initiatives across the 19 northern states. Governor Fintiri highlighted Mustapha's qualifications, describing him as a seasoned public servant whose extensive experience and leadership capabilities make him exceptionally suited for this vital role.
