Fire at renowned Changhua steakhouse quickly extinguished

A fire erupted at the popular Qingfeng Steakhouse, a well-known establishment in Changhua City, on the morning of June 29. The restaurant, famous for its long queues of customers, experienced a blaze that prompted a swift response from emergency services.

Initial reports suggest the fire may have started in the restaurant's exhaust pipe system. The incident occurred around 9 a.m., drawing the attention of locals and authorities due to the restaurant's prominent location, situated just across from the Changhua County Government building.

Firefighters were dispatched immediately, with 11 fire trucks, one ambulance, and 22 personnel responding to the scene. A ladder truck was also deployed to assist in the firefighting efforts. Police managed traffic control in the vicinity to ensure safe access for emergency vehicles.

The steakhouse is a four-story concrete building. Upon arrival, firefighters observed significant smoke and flames and immediately began suppression efforts. The fire was successfully extinguished by 9:39 a.m. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
