Taiwanese rock band Fire EX. achieved a long-held dream by performing their first concert at the Taipei Arena on July 18. During the highly anticipated show, lead singer Yang Ta-cheng passionately conveyed his core message: freedom. He emphasized that Taiwan's current democratic, free, and open society was secured through the sacrifices of previous generations and expressed a desire to pass these values on.

Yang Ta-cheng articulated his thoughts before performing "Sailing to the Faraway Ship," stating, "The most beautiful thing is that you always have a choice; that thing is called freedom." He emotionally highlighted that Taiwan's democratic and free way of life, characterized by diversity and openness, was earned through the lives and struggles of democratic pioneers.
