Follower's stern warning about son's safety prompts singer Ida Prester to react

Singer and presenter Ida Prester received a stern warning from a follower about her son Roko's unsafe seating position on a boat. The follower, a mother herself, expressed concern that the child was sitting precariously on the edge of the vessel, a position she deemed extremely dangerous.

"As a mother to a mother, that is the most dangerous place because in case of a larger wave or a jolt of the boat, he will fall overboard and the boat will go right over him," the follower wrote. She emphasized that this is never done, especially with elbows over the railing in a pose that invites a dive into the sea. The follower advised the singer to have her son keep his elbows down and hold onto the vertical part of the railing if he must sit there, but to "not allow it and especially not give ideas to people watching you." She concluded by stating it is strictly forbidden by all maritime laws.

Instead of dismissing the criticism, Prester publicly shared the warning on her Instagram story and expressed gratitude. "The woman is writing to me and she is right! One does not sit here. We are inexperienced, so we are not aware of all the dangers," Prester admitted. She stated that Roko can sit there only when the boat is stationary, acknowledging her son's potential disappointment but accepting the necessity. "Thank you for the warning! A person learns as long as they live," she added.

Prester, who is married to Ivan Peševski and has two sons, Roko and Rio, previously lived in Belgrade for seven years before moving to Zagreb. The family often spends their summer months on the Adriatic coast.
