Following a series of fatal accidents, police issue an urgent warning

Authorities in Kyrgyzstan's Chuy Region have issued an urgent safety warning to drivers after a spate of fatal accidents involving vehicles plunging into rivers, canals, and other water bodies. In response to these dangerous occurrences, the police are recommending that drivers adhere to safe speed limits, avoid distractions while operating their vehicles, and exercise extreme care on roads that run alongside rivers and canals. They also stressed the importance of not driving while fatigued or under the influence of alcohol, and of reducing speed and increasing following distance during nighttime and adverse weather conditions.
