Football icon Kevin Keegan dies aged 75

English football legend Kevin Keegan has died at the age of 75. His family announced his passing, stating he was surrounded by his wife and daughters in his final moments. Keegan had publicly shared his cancer diagnosis earlier in the year, and it was revealed in June that the illness was incurable.

Keegan, a two-time World Player of the Year, achieved significant success as a player. He began his career at Liverpool, where he won three English league titles, the FA Cup, and the European Cup in six years. His aggressive style and relentless drive made him a fan favorite.

In 1977, Keegan transferred to Hamburger SV for a then-record 500,000 pounds, becoming a star in Germany.
