Football: Sports Power Bus heads south to Pingtung! Corporate league players and children share passion in a vibrant exchange

The National Sports Industry Development Center has launched its "Sports Power Bus" initiative, with its inaugural event held at Pingtung University's Pingshang Campus in Taiwan.

Seeing everyone try so hard and be so cute really reminds me of the purest joy when I first started playing football as a child.

The event brought together professional football players from the corporate league and young aspiring footballers from five local elementary schools. Activities included skill-sharing sessions and a unique "Pro Players vs. 50 Kids" exhibition match, designed to generate excitement for the upcoming corporate league season starting in September.

Players like Hong Zi-gui, Huang Meng-wei, Lu Meng-fang, and Lan Yu-jie from Kaohsiung Attackers FC, Huang Zi-ming from Taiwan Power Company Football, and several players from Tainan City Taiwan Steel Football team, including Wu Jun-qing and Pan Wen-jie, interacted with the elementary school students. The initiative also provided training funds to support grassroots football development.

I encourage all children who dream of becoming professional players to keep trying. I suggest finding a football idol you most admire in domestic and international competitions, and observe and learn their techniques and attitudes. I believe this will greatly help your future development.

The highlight was the exhibition match, where 11 professional players faced a team of 50 elementary school students. Despite the children's energetic efforts, the professionals' experience and teamwork secured a 3-1 victory, creating a lively atmosphere filled with cheers and laughter. Huang Zi-ming encouraged the young players, reminding them of the pure joy of starting in football and advising them to study their idols' techniques and attitudes.
