Foreign Minister Khanal leaves for China

Nepal's Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal embarked on a four-day official visit to Beijing on June 14, accepting an invitation from his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi. The visit aims to bolster Nepal-China relations and enhance cooperation between the two nations.

During his stay, Minister Khanal is scheduled to engage in bilateral talks with Minister Wang Yi, focusing on strengthening bilateral ties. He is also expected to meet with various high-ranking Chinese officials. These discussions are anticipated to cover a range of issues pertinent to the bilateral relationship and future collaborations.

A key event during the visit will be Khanal's participation in an investment conference organized by the Nepali Embassy in Beijing. The conference's objective is to attract foreign investment into Nepal. The embassy will also host a reception in honor of the Foreign Minister, providing an opportunity for him to interact with the Nepali community residing in China.

Minister Khanal is slated to return to Nepal on June 17, concluding his official visit. The trip signifies Nepal's ongoing efforts to deepen diplomatic and economic ties with China.
