Damari, 30, was kidnapped from her home in southern Israel on October 7, 2023. During the attack, she sustained injuries, including a gunshot wound to her leg and hand, resulting in the loss of two fingers. The wedding announcement highlighted the event as "a joyful new chapter for Emily."
