Former senator Taj Afridi dies in M-1 motorway crash

Former Pakistani Senator Taj Muhammad Afridi passed away on Friday following a fatal vehicle accident on the M-1 motorway. The incident occurred near the Colonel Sher Khan Interchange as the former senator was en route from Islamabad to Peshawar.

According to a statement from the Motorway Police, Afridi died at the scene, while his driver sustained minor injuries.
