Former Taichung Deputy Mayor Lin Yi-ying Hosts Tea Party to Thank Former Civil Affairs Director for Long-Term Support of Rural Areas

Former Taichung Deputy Mayor Lin Yi-ying is actively contributing to her hometown after stepping down from her official position. She has founded the "Abraham Symbiotic Care Labor Cooperative" in the Daguang community, located in the Heping District of Taichung.

The cooperative's primary goal is to train members of the indigenous community to become certified caregivers. This initiative aims to provide much-needed long-term care services directly within the community, ensuring that residents can receive support close to home.

Lin recently hosted a tea party to express her gratitude to Cai Shiyin, the former Director of the Civil Affairs Bureau. His sustained support has been instrumental in developing rural areas like Daguang. The event, held at the cooperative, was attended by community members and local leaders, highlighting the collaborative effort to improve elder care in the region.
