Four Charged in Kidnapping; Allegedly Demanded Victim Hand Over Two Minors

A judge has ordered four individuals to stand trial for aggravated kidnapping, accused of demanding that their victim hand over two minors. The accused face a preliminary preventive detention measure, with a two-month period set for the complementary investigation.

The investigation began on March 9, 2026, following a report by the victim's partner, who had not heard from him since the previous day. The victim later returned home showing signs of violence, recounting that he had been deprived of his liberty since March 8.

According to the victim's account, the four defendants and others took him to a warehouse in the Tepeyac Insurgentes neighborhood, in the Gustavo A. Madero borough. There, he was allegedly threatened and beaten. Subsequently, he was taken to his home in Cuautitlán Izcalli, State of Mexico, where he was forced to call his mother to demand the handover of her two children, who are minors.

He was then moved to another property in Lago de Guadalupe, also in Cuautitlán Izcalli, where he was reportedly released on March 9. The Attorney General's Office of Mexico City (FGJCDMX) requested and obtained arrest warrants after analyzing surveillance footage from the C5 command center.

The arrests were carried out on July 23. Dulce “N” and Beatriz “N” were apprehended in the Venustiano Carranza borough, César “N” in Gustavo A. Madero, and Eduardo “N” in Ecatepec de Morelos, State of Mexico, with assistance from the State of Mexico's Attorney General's Office. During a hearing on July 29, the decision was made to link them to the ongoing legal process.
