Four Chinese Military Aircraft Enter Taiwan's Airspace

Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense reported on Sunday that four Chinese military aircraft entered its air defense identification zone over a 24-hour period. The incursions were detected between Saturday morning and Sunday morning, affecting the northern, central, and southeastern parts of Taiwan's airspace.

According to the ministry's statement on air and sea activities around Taiwan, the detected Chinese aircraft included one helicopter in the northern sector. In the western sector, two helicopters and a drone crossed the median line into Taiwan's central airspace. Another helicopter was observed in the southeastern airspace.

In addition to the aircraft, the ministry also noted the presence of five Chinese warships and six Chinese coast guard vessels operating in the vicinity of Taiwan. The report highlights ongoing activity by Chinese military assets in the region.

Taiwan's armed forces stated they are responding to these incursions by closely monitoring and deploying various assets. This includes mission aircraft, naval vessels, and shore-based missile systems to maintain surveillance and readiness in the Taiwan Strait.
