Four Fake Wind Oil Production Sites Raided in Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City; 14 Detained

The raid, a collaborative effort involving economic police, market management, and forensic teams, targeted facilities suspected of producing and distributing counterfeit wind oil under the well-known Eagle Brand.

The operation, which also extended to Ho Chi Minh City, uncovered a sophisticated setup involving a production line for mixing, filling, and packaging the fake product. The scale of the operation was substantial, with authorities seizing over 27,511 bottles of counterfeit wind oil. This seizure represents a significant financial loss for the legitimate brand and a victory for consumer protection.

Initial investigations point to two key suspects, C.K.C and N.V.Đ, as the masterminds behind this elaborate scheme. They allegedly operated under the guise of a legitimate business, exploiting logistics and delivery services to distribute their fraudulent products. The swift action by the police underscores their commitment to combating economic crime and protecting the public from substandard and potentially harmful counterfeit goods.
