Four houses destroyed in large fire in Dong Thap

A significant fire erupted in Dong Thap province, Vietnam, on the afternoon of July 11, consuming four homes in Tay Hamlet, Tan Thanh Commune. Fortunately, all residents were away from their houses when the blaze broke out, preventing any human casualties.

Following the initial report, local police, military, and security forces quickly mobilized to the scene. They collaborated with residents, utilizing portable fire extinguishers, water pumps, and other available equipment to contain the spread of the flames. The Provincial Firefighting and Rescue Police later dispatched additional forces and equipment to assist in fully extinguishing the fire, which was brought under control around 4:25 PM the same day.

The fire completely destroyed four temporary wooden houses with corrugated iron walls and roofs belonging to residents Mr. Le Van Su, Mr. Le Thanh Dan, Mr. Le Van Nhan, and Mr. Le Van Truc Linh. The exact cause of the fire and the total value of the damages are currently under investigation by the relevant authorities.
