Four-nation youth teeball tournament held in Geumsan, South Korea

Geumsan County in South Korea became a hub for youth baseball diplomacy as it hosted the '2026 KBO and Geumsan County International Exchange Teeball Tournament.' The event, held on August 29 and 30, brought together young athletes from four different countries, fostering camaraderie and cultural exchange through the sport.

The tournament saw the participation of 32 teams, with approximately 1,500 players, coaches, and staff converging in Geumsan County. The participating nations included the host country, South Korea, alongside teams from Japan, Vietnam, and Mongolia. This diverse representation highlighted the growing international reach of teeball and baseball.

Organized by the Korea Teeball Federation and supported by both Geumsan County and the KBO, the event underscored a commitment to developing youth sports and promoting international cooperation.
