The swift action by operatives followed a complaint lodged on April 16, 2026, detailing how the suspects, identified as Samson John, Olufowora Michael, Odeh Samuel Ejeh, and Olajide Jeremiah, allegedly stormed a residence.

On 16th April 2026 at about 11:30pm, a report was made at the station. The complainant stated that earlier on the same day at about 1pm, Samson John ‘M’, in the company of six other individuals, stormed his residence, assaulted him, threatened him with an axe, and robbed him of his mobile phone, an iPhone 14 Pro Max.

According to the report filed at the Ilaro Division, the complainant stated that the group, armed with an axe, threatened him and made off with his iPhone 14 Pro Max. The Ogun State Police Command, under the leadership of Commissioner Bode Ojajuni, has reiterated its unwavering commitment to eradicating cultism and violent crimes within the state.
