France Clearly Wins Against Iraq, Match Disrupted by Violent Storm

France decisively defeated Iraq 3-0 to secure their place in the round of 16 at the 2026 World Cup. The match, held at Philadelphia Stadium, experienced a significant delay due to a violent thunderstorm, forcing a nearly two-hour interruption before the second half could commence.

Star player Kylian Mbappe marked his 100th appearance for France with a brace, scoring in the 14th and 54th minutes.
