Free Activities Abound: National Museums Offer Winter Holiday Programs in Buenos Aires

Families in Buenos Aires and the surrounding province can look forward to a variety of free activities during the upcoming winter school holidays, running from July 20 to July 31. The National Secretariat of Culture, under the direction of Leonardo Cifelli, has curated an extensive program designed to engage children, adolescents, and adults alike.

This initiative aims to stimulate leisure time and provide enriching experiences during the break. The offerings span diverse cultural fields, including history, music, science, and literature, inviting participants to explore the nation's heritage and artistic expressions.

Several national museums are participating, featuring special programs tailored for the holidays. Among these, the National Historical Museum of the Cabildo of Buenos Aires and the May Revolution, as well as the Museum of Natural Sciences, are set to host engaging events. While many activities are free, some may require prior reservation to secure a spot.
