Free children's art workshops to be held in Istanbul and Ankara in September

Istanbul, Turkey – İş Sanat is set to offer a series of free art workshops for children in both Istanbul and Ankara throughout September. These engaging sessions aim to provide young participants with unique art and museum experiences through a variety of creative activities.

In Istanbul, the Türkiye İş Bankası Painting and Sculpture Museum will host several workshops. These include "Creative Sculpture Workshop Inspired by Zühtü Müridoğlu" on September 2nd, "My Piggy Bank" on September 6th, "Memories from Istanbul: Postcard Workshop" on September 9th, "The Forest in the Painting" on September 13th, and "My Frame, My Landscape" on September 20th. Children will explore different materials and techniques to create their own original artworks. The "Forest in the Painting" and "My Frame, My Landscape" workshops are designed for participation with parents.

At Galataport's İş Vapur, workshops such as "Istanbul's Fish" on September 1st, "A Fish's Diary" on September 8th, and "The Colorful World Under the Bosphorus" on September 15th will welcome young art enthusiasts. These activities are crafted to introduce children to the Marmara Sea, the Istanbul Strait, and underwater life, with a focus on marine creatures and conservation.

Ankara's İktisadi Bağımsızlık Müzesi in Ulus will also feature workshops. These include "Heroes of the Blue and Green World" on September 12th, "Colors of Ankara" on September 22nd and 26th, "Colorful Stained Glass" on September 24th, and "Museum Detectives: Design the Object of the Future" on September 27th. The "Museum Detectives" event will involve children and their families completing tasks by observing museum objects before designing future museum artifacts. The "Colors of Ankara" workshop will inspire children to paint their city based on Eşref Üren's landscape works.
