Free veterinary campaign on July 16 in Cercado de Lima: check schedule and services for pets

Residents in the Cercado de Lima district will have access to free veterinary services for their pets this Thursday, July 16. The initiative, organized by the Municipality of Lima through its Municipal House No. 5, aims to provide preventive veterinary care to families with companion animals.

The campaign will take place at Parque Sivirichi, located on Los Tulipanes street, block 5, in the Las Brisas urbanization. It is specifically targeted at pet owners and caregivers seeking support and information to reinforce responsible pet care practices. The event is scheduled to run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Services offered by the "Brigada PET" include general veterinary consultations to assess pet health and provide initial care recommendations. Additionally, the campaign will provide internal and external deworming services, crucial for preventing health issues caused by parasites. Parasites can cause discomfort to animals and facilitate the spread of infections among pets sharing living spaces.

Beyond medical services, the campaign will feature a talk on responsible pet ownership. This session will offer guidance on proper care and also include information on registering dogs and cats. The municipality emphasizes the importance of deworming as a basic preventive measure for animal health and to control potential contagion.
