French artists to hold charity concert for wildfire victims as fires persist

A constellation of French stars, including Renaud, Zazie, and Pascal Obispo, will perform at a charity concert in Bordeaux on August 27. The event aims to raise funds for those affected by the summer's devastating wildfires. Broadcast live on M6 and RTL, the concert promises an evening of solidarity, with all artists performing voluntarily.

Meanwhile, the fight against the fires continues. In the Var region, the Gros Bessillon fire is no longer progressing, but authorities caution that vigilance remains crucial. Approximately 1,000 firefighters and 250 vehicles are on the ground, supported by aerial resources. European solidarity is evident with the arrival of Serbian and Romanian firefighters.
