French Open day four: Starodubtseva stuns Rybakina; Rublev, Svitolina, Swiatek advance

On the men's side, 13th seed Karen Khachanov of Russia secured his spot in the third round after a nearly four-hour match against Marco Trungelliti, winning 7-6(5), 5-7, 6-1, 7-6(4). Swiss 11th seed Belinda Bencic was the first woman into the third round, defeating American Caty McNally 6-4, 6-0.

Play commenced under hot conditions at Roland Garros, with temperatures hovering around 28 degrees Celsius and expected to rise. Top players like Iga Swiatek and Novak Djokovic were scheduled to begin their matches later in the day.
