From Chance Encounter to Fairytale Wedding: The Love Story of Andrej and Mia Kramarić

Andrej Kramarić, a key player for Croatia and a forward for Hoffenheim, is known for his strong performance on the field, but his personal life with wife Mia is equally noteworthy.

The couple's love story began in 2017, a year after Andrej's transfer to Hoffenheim. Mia, then a veterinary student, and Andrej navigated a long-distance relationship. After Mia graduated, she relocated to Heidelberg, Germany, where they established their home.

Mia described their life in Heidelberg as pleasant, noting the city's charm and proximity to nature. "Heidelberg is much smaller than Zagreb, with about 150,000 inhabitants, but we don't lack entertainment. The city is magical, surrounded by dense forests, so we spend a lot of time in nature or walking along the Neckar River," she shared.

Their union was formalized with a civil wedding in Zagreb in March 2021, followed by the birth of their son, Viktor, in August of the same year. Mia chose an elegant white suit by Serbian designer Mihailo Anušić for their church wedding. In May 2024, their family expanded with the arrival of their daughter, Eva. Andrej was present for both births, underscoring the importance of family to him.

While Andrej is more reserved about his private life, he once shared how they met: "We met simply, but it's a long story. In short, all my friends knew her beforehand, and our parents know each other. I just hadn't seen her before because I was out of the country. I ran into her by chance, and I asked my best friend who that girl was, and he started laughing, not understanding how I didn't know her."
