From dancing to Oyetola rivalry: Everything Adeleke said at Osun governorship town hall

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke vigorously defended his administration's performance and dismissed criticisms during an Arise TV town hall meeting ahead of the gubernatorial election.

Adeleke highlighted achievements in road construction, healthcare, and workers' welfare, while addressing concerns about his public dancing and his rivalry with the All Progressives Congress (APC) and his predecessor, Adegboyega Oyetola. He recalled being "cheated" in the 2018 election, which prompted him to return to school before his successful 2022 comeback.

Adeleke characterized himself as a "bulldozer," unfazed by the APC's support for his opponent. He noted that while APC governors could campaign, they could not vote in Osun. He even claimed some governors who campaigned against him later called to say they were "just joking." He accused the APC of resorting to vote-buying after years of perceived poor governance, stating, "Osun people are now wise."
