From Dushanbe to US Freight Tech: Khurshed Akhmedjonov's Digital System for Trucking

Khurshed Akhmedjonov, an engineer originally from Dushanbe, is building a digital system to modernize freight transportation in the USA, tackling an industry still reliant on outdated methods like spreadsheets and manual payment reconciliation.

Akhmedjonov's journey began in Dushanbe, where he excelled in academics and developed an early interest in technology. He later pursued higher education in the USA, earning an Associate of Science degree in mathematics from Camden County College and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Drexel University. During his studies, he engaged in applied engineering projects, including an energy management system.

His professional career in the USA included roles at PJM Interconnection, where he focused on data analysis for energy infrastructure reliability, and Boomi, where he gained expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD processes, and DevOps tools. These experiences, particularly the emphasis on infrastructure reliability and automation, became the bedrock for his current venture, DataFleet.

Akhmedjonov's startup, DataFleet, aims to provide a modern cloud platform for the trucking industry, addressing the inefficiencies faced by thousands of small and medium-sized companies that still manage operations through spreadsheets and paper records.
