From Karina Mazzocco to L-Gante: The Confirmed Names for MasterChef Celebrity, Telefe’s Gran Hermano Replacement

Telefe is already assembling its next big television bet as Gran Hermano Generación Dorada enters its final stage. MasterChef Celebrity will return with Wanda Nara at the helm, bringing together cooking, competition and a cast drawn from across Argentina’s entertainment world.

The production is working toward a lineup of 24 celebrities. Nine names have reportedly secured places so far: L-Gante, Luck Ra, Lizy Tagliani, China Ansa, Julieta Poggio, Grego Rosselló, Edith Hermida, Karina Mazzocco and Pablo Giralt.

The casting deliberately mixes musicians, actors, journalists, television hosts and influencers. L-Gante and Luck Ra represent the music scene, while Poggio joins after building a stronger entertainment profile following her time on Gran Hermano and several streaming programs. Rosselló brings experience in comedy and social media. Mazzocco, Hermida, Ansa and Giralt come from television and journalism.

Gimena Accardi is another name that has recently emerged. Her possible arrival has attracted attention because of her current media profile and her former friendship with María Eugenia Suárez, described in the program’s framing as Wanda Nara’s public enemy. The prospect could create tense moments around Suárez’s highly publicized split from Nico Vázquez and her past outings with China.

The remaining places have not been finalized. Dalma Maradona appears in the production’s draft list, while Nora Colosimo, Wanda Nara’s mother, has also reportedly been approached. Martita Fort, Débora Nishimoto, Santi Talledo and Daniela Christiansson are among the other names being considered.
