FULL LIST: 10 new EPL players to watch this season

Among the notable newcomers is Swiss attacking midfielder Johan Manzambi, who joins Aston Villa from Freiburg. The 20-year-old impressed at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, helping Switzerland reach the quarter-finals and setting a record for goal contributions by a player his age. His performances also earned him the UEFA Europa League Young Player of the Season award.

Bournemouth has secured the signing of Portuguese centre-back Antonio Silva from Benfica. The 22-year-old, who already has 20 senior caps for Portugal, is described by former Premier League defender Abel Xavier as a player possessing "security, maturity, game vision, assertiveness, aggression, and leadership."

Brentford's club-record signing, Mamadou Sangare, arrives from French club Lens. The 24-year-old Malian international was recognized as the best-performing African player in Ligue 1, winning the Marc-Vivien Foe Award. Sangare showcased strong defensive capabilities alongside creative attacking output, ranking highly in tackles and chances created.

Brighton & Hove Albion has acquired Croatian centre-back Luka Vuskovic, 19, who joins from Tottenham after a loan spell in Germany. Vuskovic notably scored six goals in the Bundesliga last season, the most by any defender, and his spectacular overhead kick was named goal of the season.
