FULL LIST: FIFA releases top World Cup goalscorers for 81 nations, three yet to score

FIFA has published a comprehensive list detailing the top goalscorers for 81 nations throughout the history of the FIFA World Cup. This release highlights the leading marksman for each country that has participated in the tournament and found the back of the net.

Notably, three nations – China PR, Indonesia, and Trinidad and Tobago – are identified as the only teams to have featured in the World Cup without scoring a single goal. These countries have each made at least one appearance but have yet to register a goal in the competition's records.

The list is topped by France's Kylian Mbappé, who has amassed an impressive 22 goals. He is closely followed by Argentina's Lionel Messi with 21 goals and Germany's Miroslav Klose, who has scored 16. Other prominent figures on the list include Brazil's Ronaldo (15 goals), Hungary's Sandor Kocsis (11), Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo (11), and Peru's Teofilo Cubillas (10).

Several other players with significant goal tallies are also recognized, including Italy's Roberto Baggio, Paolo Rossi, and Christian Vieri, along with Spain's David Villa, each having scored nine goals. Belgium's Romelu Lukaku and Uruguay's Oscar Miguez complete the group of players with at least eight World Cup goals. Nigeria's highest scorer on the list is former Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa, with four goals.
