Dominican sprinter Gabriel Moronta seized the gold medal in the men's 400 meters at the Central American and Caribbean Games, delivering a thrilling victory for the home crowd. Moronta crossed the finish line in 44.70 seconds, outpacing Mexico's Luis Aviles (45.06) and Venezuela's Javier Gómez (45.07).
