Garage fire after explosion in Lübeck injures one person severely

The blaze proved challenging, with flames engulfing the garage and reaching the attached house, necessitating extensive firefighting efforts.

During the operation, emergency crews successfully rescued one person and a dog from the immediate vicinity of the fire. The rescued individual sustained severe burns as a result of the incident. Medical personnel attended to the person at the scene before transporting them to a specialized clinic for further treatment.

Approximately 40 firefighters from the Lübeck fire department and several volunteer units were involved in combating the fire.
