Gasoline Prices Set for Another Hike in Turkey

Turkey is bracing for another increase in fuel prices, with industry sources indicating a new hike for gasoline. Following a 1.06 Turkish Lira increase implemented overnight, a further rise of 2.08 Lira per liter is anticipated for gasoline starting Monday night.

Of the projected 2.08 Lira increase, 1.56 Lira is expected to be directly reflected at the pump. This ongoing trend of price adjustments continues to impact the cost of fuel across the country.

As of the latest available data, current fuel prices in Istanbul show gasoline at 68.36 TL and diesel at 80.04 TL per liter on the European side. On the Anatolian side, gasoline is priced at 68.21 TL and diesel at 79.90 TL. In Ankara, gasoline costs 69.32 TL and diesel 81.16 TL, while Izmir records gasoline at 69.62 TL and diesel at 81.44 TL per liter. LPG prices also remain significant, with Istanbul's European side at 33.79 TL, Anatolian side at 33.19 TL, Ankara at 33.89 TL, and Izmir at 33.79 TL per liter.
