The report, published by The Washington Post, revealed that Preston Parra, who previously interned for Collins and worked for his political action committee, allegedly shared images of a swastika and himself in Ku Klux Klan robes on social media. Parra, however, claimed the posts were "satirical" and made using AI, and that Collins was unaware of his private social media activity.

Collins's campaign, through spokesperson Meyer Siegfried, denied any affiliation with Parra, calling the posts "vile" and "completely unhinged." Siegfried also attempted to deflect by mentioning a rise in antisemitism among "Jon Ossoff's allies." This controversy adds to a growing scandal surrounding Collins's campaign, following previous reports about his son-in-law's alleged white nationalist views and online activity. The race is considered critical for control of the Senate.
