The Gerindra Party faction in the Indonesian House of Representatives has strongly refuted circulating rumors alleging that its chairman, Budi Djiwandono, issued an order to monitor the movements of Indonesian Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. The faction described the claims, which have spread widely on social media, as untrue and potentially divisive.

He clarified that the actual instructions from the Gerindra leadership to its members involve monitoring the economic conditions within their respective constituencies and ensuring the effective implementation of government programs for the public.

Budi Djiwandono is noted as being Prabowo's nephew.
