Germany misses round of 16 for third time in a row after Paraguay upset

Germany's World Cup journey has ended prematurely for the third successive tournament, following a dramatic penalty shootout loss to Paraguay in Boston. The match went into a penalty shootout, where Germany's hopes quickly faded. Kai Havertz missed the first penalty, and Orlando Gill, the Paraguayan goalkeeper, went on to save another shot. Although Paraguay also missed some penalties, Germany couldn't capitalize, and José Canales ultimately converted the winning kick for Paraguay.
