Giant Water Park Returns to Kaohsiung for Summer's End

A large-scale parent-child water park event is set to make a splash in Taiwan's Kaohsiung city, marking the grand finale of the summer vacation in the Lin Yuan and Da Liao districts. The event, organized by Kaohsiung City Councilor candidate Chang Yao-Chung, promises a weekend of aquatic fun and family entertainment.

The centerpiece of the attraction is Taiwan's largest water slide, towering 11 meters high and stretching 42 meters long. Attendees can also enjoy a massive inflatable water and land playground, a dedicated splash zone for young children, and a unique dinosaur riding experience. The event aims to provide a memorable summer send-off for families.

Scheduled for August 23rd in Lin Yuan Night Market and August 30th at the Da Liao Bao Gong Temple, both from 3 PM to 6 PM, the water park offers more than just water activities. Councilor candidate Chang Yao-Chung hopes the event will encourage visitors to explore local delicacies and attractions, thereby stimulating local commerce and tourism.

In addition to the giant slide and play areas, the event will offer free ice cream, egg waffles, and water guns for social media check-ins. The initiative aims to bring joy and excitement to the community while highlighting the local culture and businesses.
