Arraez, leading the NL with a .324 batting average, was the Giants' highest-value player according to WAR (Wins Above Replacement) metrics, with 3.7.

Both Ray and Arraez are set to become free agents after the current season. The Giants' trades involved sending out seven players, including these two stars, in exchange for eight new players.
