Global Pact Network Bolivia announces III Business Summit for SDGs to strengthen business leadership for sustainable development

Pacto Global Red Bolivia, in collaboration with the United Nations System in Bolivia and the Ministry of Planning and Environment, is organizing the III Business Summit for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Scheduled for August 11 in La Paz, the event will operate under the theme "A Pact for Bolivia."

This summit serves as Bolivia's primary multi-sectoral dialogue platform. It aims to enhance collaboration between the business sector, the state, and international cooperation. The goal is to promote solutions that drive sustainable economic growth, boost competitiveness, and improve the well-being of the Bolivian population.

The summit will focus on strengthening the private sector's commitment to implementing the SDGs. Participants will exchange experiences, build strategic alliances, and generate concrete commitments to address the country's key economic, social, and environmental challenges. The agenda includes keynote conferences, high-level panels, and discussions centered on four strategic pillars: alliances for development, climate action and productive resilience, transformational governance and artificial intelligence, and sustainable prosperity with inclusive economic growth.

Inspired by international forums on sustainability, the III Business Summit seeks to move from commitment to action. It emphasizes collaborative efforts among various stakeholders to foster a more resilient, competitive, and inclusive Bolivia. Pacto Global Red Bolivia currently unites over 130 organizations dedicated to the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and the SDGs, driving initiatives with positive impacts for people, the planet, and prosperity.
