Glory Harimas Sihombing, Head of Indonesia Food Security Review Foundation, Named New Suspect in MBG Case

Glory Harimas Sihombing (GHS), the head of the Yayasan Indonesia Food Security Review (Indonesia Food Security Review Foundation), has been named a new suspect in the alleged corruption case involving the "Makan Bergizi Gratis" (MBG) program, which translates to "Free Nutritious Meal" program. The Attorney General's Office announced the development.

According to the Attorney General's Office, GHS was reportedly instructed by Dadan Hindayana, the former Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), to identify and secure foundation partners for the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG). This suggests a potential role in facilitating or overseeing the program's partnerships.

Following her designation as a suspect, GHS was immediately detained. She will remain in custody at the Rutan Salemba Cabang Kejaksaan Agung (Salemba Detention Center, Branch of the Attorney General's Office) for the next 20 days as the investigation proceeds.
