Go Woo-seok ejected from Triple-A game for alleged foreign substance violation

Go Woo-seok, a pitcher for the Minnesota Twins' Triple-A affiliate, was ejected from a game due to an alleged violation of foreign substance regulations concerning his glove. The incident took place during his debut appearance for the St. Paul Saints in a minor league game.

Go Woo-seok had been demoted to Triple-A after a difficult outing on June 21, where he allowed three runs in one inning. On Tuesday, he took the mound as the Saints' third pitcher in the seventh inning against the Columbus Clippers. Shortly after beginning his warm-up, umpires initiated an inspection of his glove.

According to reports, umpires closely examined the inside of Go Woo-seok's glove. After conferring with other officials, they confiscated the glove and issued an ejection to the pitcher. Go Woo-seok appeared to protest the decision before his glove was taken away.
