Gov Mbah honoured with transformational leadership award

Enugu State Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah has been honored with an Award of Excellence for his transformational leadership and developmental achievements. The Enugu Media Village recognized his outstanding governance, highlighting his impact on the state's critical sectors.

The award ceremony, which also recognized the best-performing local government chairmen, saw Governor Mbah's administration praised for its remarkable transformation of Enugu State in just three years. The Board of Trustees Chairman of Enugu Media Village, Nnanna Nze, commended the governor's strides, noting they have garnered widespread commendation.

Receiving the award, Governor Mbah, represented by the state's Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Osinachi Nnajieze, attributed the honor to his team and the citizens of Enugu State. He pledged his commitment to exceeding expectations and delivering further dividends of democracy, stating that the people of Enugu State "deserved only the very best."

Jude Asogwa, Chairman of Nsukka Local Government Area, was named the best-performing local government chairman in the state, with Isi-Uzo Council Chairman Obiora Obeagu securing second place. The poll involved all 17 local government areas, with Nsukka LGA emerging as the overall winner.
