Gran Hermano: Generación Dorada reveals its four finalists after Yanina Zilli’s elimination

Yanina Zilli’s six-and-a-half-month run in Gran Hermano: Generación Dorada ended Monday after the public eliminated her from the reality show. Her departure left Charlotte Caniggia, Luana Fernández, Sol Abraham and Uruguay’s Yipio as the four finalists.

The five remaining participants had been collecting positive votes from viewers. Host Santiago del Moro first announced, without revealing percentages, that Yipio, Luana and Sol would remain in the competition. The decision then came down to Charlotte and Zilli, who had been in the running since the first day.

The public ultimately chose to eliminate Zilli, who spent 196 days inside the house and maintained a high-profile presence throughout the show. “Goodbye to this house that gave me beautiful things,” she said. “Thank you for giving me this beautiful opportunity. Thank you for the six and a half months I spent here. I feel like a winner. I gave my best.”

Zilli left while repeating her catchphrase, “Playing, playing!” and singing Miley Cyrus’s “Flowers.” The show now moves into its final stretch. The voting board remains open, with viewers able to vote for Charlotte, Luana, Sol or Yipio by sending GH to 9009.

On Tuesday, the visitors will leave the house, and one of Sebastián Cola, Titi Tcherkaski and Tomy Riguera will win a trip. A new elimination gala will follow Wednesday, the contestants’ casting videos will air Thursday, and the host will enter Sunday for a final dinner with the last three finalists. The date of the grand final has not yet been announced.
