"Green Boots" May Return Home After 30 Years Frozen on Everest

The body of a climber, famously known as "Green Boots" for his distinctive fluorescent green mountaineering boots, may finally be recovered from Mount Everest after being frozen on the mountain for approximately 30 years. Indian authorities are reportedly preparing an operation to bring the climber's remains down from the world's highest peak.

"Green Boots" has become a grim and recognizable landmark for climbers traversing the treacherous northeast ridge of Everest. His body has lain in a shallow cave near the summit, serving as a somber marker for those attempting the challenging ascent.
