Group backing Tinubu's re-election to inaugurate national executives

The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, a grassroots campaign focused on mobilizing nationwide support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election in 2027, is set to inaugurate its national executive members in Abuja on July 9. The event is scheduled to take place at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel.

The inauguration is part of efforts to deepen grassroots mobilisation and promote civic participation across the country.

Businessman Government Ekpemupolo, widely known as Tompolo, who founded and sponsors the movement, stated that the inauguration is a key step in deepening grassroots mobilization and fostering civic participation across Nigeria. He believes the economic and structural reforms initiated by the Tinubu administration are beginning to show positive results, pointing to increased foreign investment, growth in the Nigerian capital market, and enhanced fiscal autonomy for sub-national governments as evidence.

Ekpemupolo described the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement as a national platform designed to promote development and support the federal government's 'Renewed Hope' agenda through community engagement and democratic participation. The movement primarily engages directly with communities, households, and ordinary citizens, relying on local volunteers and emphasizing women and youth empowerment programs as core tenets of its outreach strategy.
