Grupo Frontera Adds Rhythm and Heart to Mexico's World Cup Drive

Grupo Frontera is lending its rhythm and heart to Mexico's campaign for the 2026 World Cup, aiming to reignite passion for the sport among fans. Football remains deeply ingrained in Mexican culture, yet recent times have seen significant reservations about the national team's development, particularly as they prepare for the upcoming global tournament.

To reconnect with supporters, the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) has collaborated with Amazon Music to produce songs in the vein of Grupo Frontera's hit "Un solo corazón." Mikel Arreola, head of the FMF, believes this musical endeavor is the most effective way to restore public hope and encourage the team to at least reach the quarterfinals, often referred to as the "fifth game."

Paul Forat, a director at Amazon Music, highlighted that the idea stemmed from the shared fanaticism and passion that both sports and music evoke in society.

"These are the two greatest passions this country has: music and football. The passion football generates is incredible, and music is exactly the same; they go hand in hand," Forat stated. Grupo Frontera officially presented the song and its music video during halftime of a preparation match between Mexico and Ghana at the Estadio Cuauhtémoc.
