GS E&C Expands Proactive Repair Campaign for Xi Apartment Common Areas

GS Engineering & Construction is broadening its "First Look, Refresh" campaign, a proactive initiative to inspect and repair common areas in its Xi-branded apartment complexes. This program aims to ensure the quality of shared spaces within one to two years of residents moving in.

The campaign focuses on key areas such as landscaping, community facilities, and parking lots. It represents a shift from the traditional approach, where repairs were made only after residents reported defects. Now, GS E&C actively visits complexes to identify and address potential issues before they become significant problems for residents.

This year, the company has enhanced the campaign by involving employees and subcontractors who participated in the original construction. These individuals possess intimate knowledge of the site conditions and construction processes. Their involvement allows for a more thorough assessment of usability, maintenance status, and finishing quality in the actual living environment.

Previously, post-completion defect management was handled primarily by customer service departments. The revised approach integrates the expertise of the original construction teams, ensuring a deeper understanding and more effective resolution of common area maintenance needs. This proactive stance underscores GS E&C's commitment to long-term resident satisfaction and property value.
