Guido Kaczka's show beats 'Gran Hermano' in Argentine ratings

Guido Kaczka has once again proven his television prowess, with the finale of his show "Es mi sueño" outperforming the highly popular "Gran Hermano" in Argentina's ratings. The Tuesday finale, which saw Margarita Ponce crowned the winner, captured 10.1 points, edging out "Gran Hermano's" 9.1 points and becoming the most-watched program of the day.

The success of the first season, which featured emotional performances and inspiring stories, has prompted the channel eltrece and producer Kuarzo to greenlight a second season. This new iteration will introduce a celebrity twist, pairing well-known figures with amateur artists. To advance in the competition, each celebrity must secure three green lights from a panel by singing with a non-famous contestant.

While the premiere of the celebrity season on Wednesday, featuring Leticia Brédice, Guillermo Andino, and Yayo Guiridi, garnered 8.1 rating points, it was still the third most-watched program that day. The following Thursday, "Es mi sueño" again topped the ratings with 8.8 points, marking the second-highest rating since its debut. This continued success positions Kaczka as a formidable competitor against Telefe's flagship programs.
