Gun drawn during fight at wake in Adana; bystanders intervene

A dispute at a wake in Adana, Turkey, erupted into violence when one attendee drew a firearm and chased others. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening in the Belediye Evleri neighborhood of Çukurova district.

Reports indicate that two groups, present for a relative's wake, began arguing for reasons yet to be determined. The disagreement quickly escalated into a physical altercation. During the fight, one man produced a pistol from his waistband and began pursuing individuals from the opposing group.

Bystanders intervened, managing to calm the man with the gun and separate the feuding parties. The individuals involved then dispersed from the area. The entire confrontation was captured on mobile phone cameras by onlookers.

Police were dispatched to the scene following reports of the incident and established security measures. An investigation into the altercation has been initiated.
