Gunmen kidnap two farmers in Ondo, demand N100m ransom

The Ondo State Police Command has initiated a comprehensive search for two farmers abducted while working on their farms in the Parubber community, located in the Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government Area. The incident occurred on Monday, with the armed assailants forcing the victims into a nearby forest.

A source close to one of the victims' families confirmed the pressure to pay the substantial sum. "The kidnappers have contacted the wife of one of the victims and demanded N100m ransom.
